Two celebrated Chicago artists, Hebru Brantley and Max Sansing, came together to create an imaginative 50x60 foot mural of baseball superstar Kris Bryant in the Wrigleyville section of the city. Born and raised in Chicago, Brantley is known globally for his unique “Flyboy” art, and Sansing is recognized as a photorealism/graffiti artist. The All-Star third baseman is widely respected for his on-field exploits and how he carries himself off the baseball diamond. Brantley and Sansing looked to immortalize the reigning Rookie of the Year player on the massive wallscape, with Sansing creating the realistic face of Kris, while Brantley delivered his impression of Kris’ life story through his iconic and detailed black and white line work.
