Winter Photowalk 01

First journal entry of many. Making space for me to dump images I make that aren’t your typical “Instagram bangers” or any other cliche focuses of subject matter. Expect to see more work within these journal entries that provide proof that “I was here, and this is what I saw.”

Took a stroll through my neighborhood. It’s be a crazy winter, been getting annihilated with a massive amount of snow lately. So far this month has been 19 inches, with 9 days remaining. More snow expected to come this Sunday…

Below are some images I made documented the fixtures people use as “dibs” to save their parking spots. It’s something they do here in Chicago. I haven’t seen too many creative creations outside of social media, but I think this is a good start to get a series going.

All images shot on the Fujifilm X-Pro 3 // Fujinon 23mm f/2 lens, using the Leica M10 Monochrome film simulation.

Feel free to comment with some MORE than a compliment. Open to an honest critique and feedback. You don’t have to be a photographer in order to express how you feel about a photograph. Thanks for taking the time to look!
